What is Bags VIP?

Bags VIP is a luggage delivery service that allows you to skip baggage claim and have your checked baggage delivered directly to the location of your choice (home, office, hotel, golf course, etc.) within 100 miles of a participating destination airport. Bags VIP is available for any baggage that arrives at one of our more than 250 participating airports and does not have to clear customs.

What does the service cost?

Base price of $39.95 includes up to 2 bags plus the first 40 miles of delivery from the arriving airport.

For orders with more than 2 bags, each additional bag is charged $10 per bag up to a maximum of 8 bags per order.

For orders greater than 40 miles of the arriving airport, there is an additional $1 per mile surcharge up to the maximum of 100 miles for delivery.

Please remember airline baggage fees are separate from the baggage delivery charge and are collected by the airlines when you check in for your flight.

Why do I still have to pay airline baggage fees when I check my bag if I paid a Bags VIP delivery charge?

The Bags VIP delivery charge covers the cost of your baggage delivery from the airport. Airline baggage fees are charged by airlines to cover the cost of handling your baggage while in the flight process.

How do I place a Bags VIP delivery order?

To place a Bags VIP delivery order, schedule your delivery at least one hour before your scheduled departure. You will need your airline confirmation code (this is the 6-digit, alpha numeric record locator that can be found on your travel itinerary) as well as the address of the delivery location. You can also call Bags VIP Customer Service at 1-877-847-0045.

Can I schedule a Bags VIP delivery if I’m already at the airport?

Yes, as long as you book your delivery at least one hour before your scheduled flight departure, your destination is a participating airport, your baggage will not need to clear customs, and the delivery address is within 100 miles of the airport, you can participate in the Bags VIP service. How do I make changes to my order?

Should you need to make any changes to your order (number of bags, baggage different from the description, etc.) please contact Bags VIP Customer Service at 1-877-847-0045 or BagsVIP@MakeTravelEasier.com.

What is the cancellation policy?

You may cancel any order without penalty so long as you complete the cancellation no later than 24 hours prior to your scheduled flight arrival time. If an order is cancelled less than 24 hours in advance of your scheduled flight arrival time, we reserve the right to charge a cancellation penalty of $15.00. To cancel a Bags VIP order, please contact us at 1-877-847-0045. Cancellations cannot be guaranteed within 24 hours of your scheduled flight arrival time and you may be responsible for the full cost of the order if we are unable to complete the cancellation prior to dispatch of the local driver.

Do I go to baggage claim when my flight lands?

No, when your flight reaches its final destination, bypass baggage claim and proceed to your destination.

How soon after flight arrival will my bags be delivered?

Your bags will arrive within up to 4-6 hours of flight arrival. You will receive emails when your baggage is picked up from the baggage carousel, when it is on its way for delivery and once it has been delivered.

If the delivery is to a residential address and you required a signature upon delivery, a delivery attempt will not be made until you are contacted by phone in order to arrange a delivery acceptance time. This may push your delivery outside the standard 4 to 6 hour delivery window. It is important that the local delivery agent has the directions necessary to access the delivery address if it is located within a gated community.

If you will not be able to or do not wish to receive a call to schedule a delivery acceptance time, would like to waive the signature requirement or need to give specific directions for the delivery to be completed, please call Bags VIP Customer Service at 1-877-847-0045 so they may assist you and ensure that the delivery is completed as seamlessly as possible. Scheduling is not required for deliveries to hotel and business addresses.

Please Note: All deliveries for flights arriving after 10:00 p.m. will arrive by noon the following day. Luggage will be secured and stored with the airline's Baggage Service Office overnight until 8 am for pick up by Bags VIP.

All baggage delivered to a hotel will be delivered to the hotel bell stand. Please be sure to contact the front desk of the hotel to let them know how to handle the baggage once it is delivered.

Deliveries with an address located inside a building may require the delivery to be accepted on the ground floor. Extreme weather and traffic conditions can impact the amount of time the delivery takes.
